Dynasonics DXN Portable Hybrid Ultrasonic Flow Meter

The Dynasonics DXN Portable Hybrid Ultrasonic Flow Meter combines both ultrasonic transit time and ultrasonic doppler technology into a single meter. This hybrid technology switches automatically between technologies to measure both clean and dirty liquids with suspended solids, aeration or gas bubbles. A high rate of accuracy is achieved (±1 percent) with a data sampling rate of 50 readings per second), and can be logged via the large built-in data logger (1 GB / expandable).

With a large 7 inch full color touch screen and wizard-based setup, programming site parameters is both easy and intuitive. Flow rates, totalization, and multiple graphing views are available, and configurations can be stored for easy retrieval later.

In addition to measuring liquid flow, the DXN can also calculate hydronic energy usage. The Energy Kit option in includes clamp-on RTDs for measuring temperature, and when combined with flow measurement can automatically calculate heat flow measurement in BTU, Watts, Joules, Kilowatts and more.
